As a key part in ball mill upsizing, the stability of bearing affects production directly. Bearings used in ball mill include ordinary sliding bearing, antifriction bearing, hydrodynamic bearing, static dynamic bearing, hydrostatic bearing; they can be seen in traditional mall ball mill as well as large one whose diameter up to 7 meters.
In recent market, hydrostatic bearing is quite welcomed for its high reliability, long service life, low energy consumption, large loading capacity. Ball mill depends on high pressure oil to realize overal liquor lubrication. High pressure oil is injected into bearing bush and quill shaft to form thick oil slick. While the lubrication of hydrostatic bearing has little relationship with oil slick pressure and quill shaft speed. When ball mill starts to work, oil between bearing bush and quill shaft lubricates the parts. Besides, oil pressure influences loading capacity of hydrostatic bearing, the higher the oil pressure, the larger the loading capacity.
