1．Preparation Stage
After making sure of reserves by geological prospecting department, firstly make a feasible study about ore bed mining to solve the problems that whether the ore deposit has value and meet the requirements of industrial mining. Feasibility study should include grade of ore, reserves, bury condition, difficulty level of comprehensive dealing with ores, market demand condition and mining method. According to primary feasibility study, finish complete feasible report and make sure mining method.
2. Stage of Basic Construction
In the stage of basic construction, firstly remove the buildings and barriers in the area of mining,As for ore has large underground water, previously remove water in the mining area and deal with surface water, construct dams and water retaining ditches to prevent surface water from flowing into the open pit.The above preparations should be finished before primary construction of ore mountains.
3． Stage of Normal Production
Normal production of open pits is accomplished through a certain production procedure and process. For the preparation of new level in the vertical extension direction, access ditch should be first dug, and then pioneer cut should be excavated. In the horizontal direction, pioneer cut enlarges(stripping and mining) to its both sides or one side. Enlargement is finished by a certain producting method whose procedures include punching, exploding, mining and assembling, delivering and soil discharging.Punching and exploding adopt large-scale down-the-hole drill or bit hole rig to drill and blast, explode rocks and peel ores and rocks from mother rock.
4. Stage of ecological restoration
With the development and quarry of mining ores, ecological restoration projects including turning the soils into forest, greening the exposure ground, and dealing with dump ooze water which will be necessary to protect environ ment, make ecology balanced.
