VSI (vertical shaft impact) crusher is an ideal secondary crusher in the artificial sand production line. It is mainly featured by large capacity, less energy consumption, convenient operation& maintenance and fine shape of final products. In order to ensure its smooth operation and long service life, we propose the following nine tips for its maintenance.  

1. Check firmware each time before the machine starts, fasten the loose part immediately if there is any.

2. Regularly open the checking door and check the wear condition inside. Replace and remove any seriously worn par so as to keep the impeller balanced during the operation running. 

3. Check firmware and wearable parts in whirlpool chamber every half a month, if any abnormal condition occurs, take immediate action to fix it.

4. The type of bearing oil should be right. It’s recommended to change the oil after the machine has operated for 200 hours in the first time and every 1000 hours later. During the oil change, clean the oil pipe and dry it; change any damaged seal mat.

5. The tensioning of V drive belt should be moderate and make sure v belt strain evenly. The motors in two sides are imbalanced; the electricity current is less than 15A.

6. Check hydraulic system frequently and carry out maintenance if there is any abnormal phenomenon.

7. Add calcium base grease to seal ring under the bearing chamber regularly.

8. Open the bearing tube and clean it after the machine has normally run 1000 hours.
