Vibrating screen is a necessary separation device for mining, coal preparation plant, stone crusher plant, water conservancy and other projects. It can effectively separate the mineral materials to improve their quality. In order to prolong the service life of screen machine, the operators shall follow required operation procedures listed as follows:

I. Pre-check before the start of vibrating screen 

1. Strictly check whether the drive system is normal and reliable, whether the screen box, sieve and spring are broken, whether the rivets and bolts are loose.

2. Whether there are obstacles around the vibrating screen, if any, clear it away in time.

3. Check whether there are foreign materials, such as crushed stone on the screen surface, if any, clean it up.

4. Check whether the sieve surface is broken. Repair the small fracture or replace the seriously broken sieve.

5. Check whether the sprinkler is smooth; whether there are fine particles or impurities in the water.

6. Check whether the lubricating parts have sound condition. Add the lubricants for the vibrating screen in time.

7. Check whether the drive belt is correctly installed. If oil pollutants are found on the belt or sheave, clean it up with clean cloth. 

8. Check the protective device. If there is any dangerous situation, it should be immediately excluded.

9. Move the flywheel or pull the belt with hands. No-load test for the machine shall not be carried out until it is confirmed that the equipment can move flexibly. 

II. Operation of the vibrating screen 

1. Turn on the power, and then turn the boot switch to the running position.

2. After receipt of the drive signal, link it with the transport system and then press the start button.

3. Observe the body vibration; listen to the running noise. If there is any abnormal vibration and sound, immediately press the stop button. Identify and eliminate the abnormal phenomenon before restart of the machine.

4. Feed the materials after the no-load running is confirmed to be normal.  

5. Adjust the position of the feed pressure door heavy thallium so that the materials can be evenly distributed along the screen surface.

6. During the operation, frequently pay attention to the temperature of motor and exciter bearing temperature, check whether there is abnormal sound. Immediately shut down the machine if any abnormal situation is found. 

7. Observe the sieve vibration and whether the amplitude is within the specified range.

8. Regularly check the fastening bolts and nuts to prevent loosening.

9. In case the electrical equipment is automatically tripped off, if the cause is unknown, it is strictly prohibited to start it again until the problem has been fixed. 

10. Pay attention to the discharge situation, if there is any clogging, clear the blocked materials.
